Morecombe Court

Morecambe Court is a block of sheltered accommodation comprising of single and double flats. There are usually around 30 residents living there at any one time. RCF holds monthly services on a Thursday evening in the lounge of the unit. A team of people go along and lead the residents in a time of worship which is followed by a speaker.

There are a few of us who speak regularly, but this is augmented by visiting speakers from RCF and from other Churches and organisations in the area. Recently we have had speakers from Samaritans Purse, Town Pastors and Tools With A Mission. The residents enjoy the meetings and chatting over a cup of tea afterwards.

We are only a small team and would welcome anyone from RCF who would like to join us, either on a regular basis or just occasionally. We also need speakers who can talk for 20 minutes about any subject (ie their work or hobby) bringing in their Christian faith and experience. You don’t need to be a member of RCF.
