CAP Money – Jayne Green:

CAP Money is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based money management system that really works.

CAP Money is a three-session course, featuring a weekly DVD  and CAP Money Coaches, who are trained to work through individual budgets with delegates.

The CAP Money course is designed to help people gain a better knowledge of what they earn and what they spend, devise a manageable budget, get their accounts in order and learn to save.

We are hoping to run a CAP Money course in the new year.

Christianity Explored – Andy Mortlock:

If you have ever wondered what Christianity is all about then this course is for you!

Christianity Explored is a ten-week course that introduces people to Jesus Christ. Week by week as course participants explore Mark’s Gospel, they address three questions that cut to the heart of Christianity: Who is Jesus? Why did he come? What does it mean to follow him?

If you are interested in exploring the answers to these questions in an informal setting or  just finding out more about the course then please contact Andy Mortlock – andy@rcfchurch.org.uk

Discipleship Explored – Andy Mortlock:

Discipleship Explored is an eight-week course exploring Paul’s letter to the Philippians and its call to live wholeheartedly for Christ. It is intended for those beginning the Christian life and those who would like a ‘refresher’. In particular, it’s ideal for new Christians who have completed Christianity Explored.

Parenting Course – Marilyn Coates:

Parenting is probably the hardest job most of us do. We go into it without much preparation and with very little training. It is a daunting task that we learn “on the job”. Often we feel that we are not doing a good enough job and believe that everyone else is much better at it than we are.

Our Parenting Course is designed to tap into the skills that we all have as parents.  Our aim is to recognise that we all feel we have done/are doing things wrong but that we also have real skills and do lots of things right. Run over 8 weeks it is very practical and encourages you to share the things that have worked for you while you learn from the other parents what has worked for them. We ALL have something to offer each other.

It is run by parents for parents. My children are now grown up but I still remember what its like. The course is very informal and runs in my home just off Foxhall Road. It lasts for 2 hours, one evening a week (day and time to be announced).

“It was good to take time to think about how I parent and what I can do better and get encouragement for what I’m doing right!” Quote from a mother after completing the course.
