Broke Hall is an estate of around 850 houses in East Ipswich built during the 1960s but without a community focus. Over the last few years some members from RCF who live on this estate have joined with their neighbours from other local churches to organise various events to draw this community together.

Garage Sale

In 2012, the first Broke Hall Garage Sale Trail was set up as a result of neighbours and local churches working together.  During that first year, 55 families took part.  Since then, the sale has grown to include around 115 sellers with buyers coming from far and wide in order to snap up a bargain.  Operation Christmas Child benefits from money raised from this sale.

When and where?
The third Saturday in May on the Broke Hall estate, Ipswich.

Carol Service

The first Broke Hall estate Carol Service was held in 2014 with the aim of continuing to draw this community together. The second Carol Service was held in 2015, included a brass band, readings, carols and puppets!
