On Sundays

The Ark is RCF’s Sunday morning children’s activities. We spend the first 30 minutes in the main worship service altogether and then go out to two classrooms for separate activities. We currently run two groups; one for age 3 to School Year 3 and another for Years 4 to 5. We have a dedicated team of leaders and helpers and we have a great time with fun, games and Bible-based teaching.

Fun Afternoons

During the year we hold special fun events for families with young children at Tower Hall, Broadlands Way, Bixley Farm, Ipswich or at Rushmere Village Hall, Humber Doucy Lane, Ipswich. These Fun Afternoons usually take place during the school holidays, with an Easter, summer or Christmas focus and include crafts, Bible stories and games. They are most suitable for families with children between the ages of 3 and 10. Go to RCF Events Facebook page for more details.20160811-fun-afternoon-220160811-fun-afternoon-1fun afternoonhedgehogs

Bright Party

Most years, or as near as possible to, 31st October, we hold a Bright Party as a celebration of the light of Jesus, rather than the darkness of Halloween. It provides an alternative party for children to attend with lots of fun, games, food and laughs – and, of course, plenty of sweets!
